Has anyone used the campell hausfeld HVLP set up . Its very reasonably priced and was considering picking one up. Any thoughts? Thanks John

Don't know this particular setup. Generally, you need a pretty good compressor for HVLP. I use a 1/2" hose to get enough air volume.

It's possible that you would be interested in a gun that Iwata makes. It's a LVLP (Low Volume, Low Pressure) gun, and it's air requirements are rather modest. Virtually any decent-sized compressor will drive it just fine. On the other hand, the gun itself is not cheap, like around $250.
