Duplicolor touch up cans same as the Quart cans
« on: March 08, 2011, 08:06:22 AM »
Does anybody know if the touch up cans of Duplicolor are the same as the Quart cans. I know the touch up cans can be used with Sig clear as a top coat, can the same be used on the paint in the Quart cans?

Hi Keith,

So far, no problems with the Duplicolor Paint Shop quart cans and dope clear top coats.  But do a test panel first.

Great general advice actually.

I will always do a test panel during the process of building - so the test " flap " is beign treated the same as all the others.
Paint and all.

Hi PJ,

I found that something as seemingly simple as changing thinners can cause a problem if you have not used it before.
