Decal Question

What brand of decal setting solution are people using for application of custom made laser printed decals to be used on a doped surface?  I have made some and on a test piece I am gettng "silvering" on the clear areas of the decal.

Hi Alan ,

Maybe try  a product called Micro Sol (by Bare Metal Foil).

I'd try a test piece first , as the decals you are using are laser printed , not a silk-screened type .

The Micro Sol will actually "melt" the decal into the area it is placed on , letting the decal "flow" into the finish . .

I use the stuff MicroMark sells. It's a decal application pack.
