could not resist
« on: March 01, 2013, 09:20:43 PM »
I had to add something to the rudder

Well now that i study it I don't like it. So I am going to let it dry and sand it off. Sheesh

Well I just re did it.

I needs something on the nose now. Just don't know what yet.

I better get it finished soon as flying season is almost here. I need to get this dialed in cause I have no clue what I am doing.

I suppose it depends on your point of view. I like the concept if not the execution (I would have done it differently) but the idea is good.

Just finish the blue bar to the bottom (on the white, inside the red curve) like it should be and run with it. y1

 Or...

You got ahold of "Reddy" real quick the first time around. Have a couple extra days patience, prepare the white "canvas" again, and re-do him. y1

What the heck is going on here? I just went back in to slightly edit my Reply #2 and it added a completely new Reply #3. On top of that, I can't delete the #3 which is irrelevant at this point.

Don't sand it off. I liked it as soon as I saw it. Maybe some stars in the blue...

That realy caught my eye as soon as the pic came up.   As stated, bring the blue bar on down.

I'll suggest some sort of tri-color scallop treatment on the nose. It would add some sense of speed and also add to the sleek look overall. Start with red behind the spinner, then white, then blue. This would also help balance the blue on the fin, which is currently the only blue on the model. It would tie in well with the "swoop" in the red at the wing and stab roots too.

I agree with John.  Rounding the corners made a world of difference.  Now it "fits". H^^
