Anyone have a small 3 view drawing of a Vector 40?
I'd like to layout some paint schemes

Thanks

If you get anything- please share- I would like to do the same. I have my V40 in silkspan & clear and need to decide about trim color layout.
Thanks in advance.

Use the box picture and make your adjustments to your preferences for paint colors

You could also try to draw out the profile of it as best you can and then color the colors you want on.  And make about a dozen or so copies.  I do this with my Oriental Plus, I traced over the plans in the article made a bunch of copies of the drawing and then colored them in with sharpie.

Hey, thanks wish I could make outlikes of the models I do for the sqame reason. Most of the 3-views have way to many shades for use fill for color .

Hi guys,

Can't you just take a picture of your own plane and down load it in paint and make your own design? I'm don't know much about computers but I believe this can be done. Have fun, Gary

Aww, you don't need no 3 view - try the Zen method.  Just place your covered but unpainted model where you can see it while you are watching TV, doing bills, framing up your next world beater etc.  Keep glancing over its way and sooner or later it will tell you how it wishes to be painted.

Of course browsing through old issues of Stunt News, a possible trip to the local general aviation airport, or even perusing through custom car, boat and hot road magazines may expedite that inspirational moment.  8)

Thanks for posting the 3-view, John. It doesn't show up as much until you crick on it and it gets big. I've saved it to my computer. What took the bite out of the top of the fin? Did your mouse get hungry?  LL~ Steve
