Here are pictures of my Cardinal. It is just taped together. I will leave it in parts until I make room in the hanger.

Foam wing from Crist. I know I have a few wrinkles but this summer when the weather heats up I will pop it with the heat gun. Should clean up nice.

Power is a LA 46. Still need to cut flaps and make some landing gear. Has weight tip box, adj. leadouts. I will also add adj. trim tab.
No wheel pants cause I do all my flying off of grass.

Will add some trim colors too.

I sure wish I had a good place to build, and more time to build. If I can ever figure out how to retire and get a real shop. But by then all my paint and glue will be dried up.

Yea I just slide it in for the pic. It says bottom due to that is how the monokote was put on. Seems go to the bottom. It will be right when I glue it in for good.

But then if I do glue it in upside down, it will be right when I fly inverted.

I turn the stab over and added some trim. Also cut the flaps.

How did it fly without the wingtip?
I’m currently building the Cardinal, but too lazy to sand-to-shape the wingtip

If yours fly well, I might also do the same.

Wow this is a flash from the past.
The plane flew but it was a wall hangar. I think I had a misalignment somewhere.

Thinking on this a little more. I built two fuselages and I ended up putting a yellow fuse on this plane. I made a green canopy out of a pop bottle. It was a learning experience. I gave away the plane to one of my son’s friends.
It was wall hangar for me. 😛

So, you’re telling me it’s not worth the try, aren’t you?
I’m still learning to fly stunts, and I just crashed my other plane.
I would like to get back to the field as soon as possible and spend more time on flying.

So, I was thinking that making the wingtip square will save times.

I think building it straight just as a trainer I think you can square off the tips. IMHO.

But if you just want a ground beater to learn on go with a Twister. Smaller plane and less wood.
