Werewage P-47 Thunderbolt
« on: September 20, 2017, 08:59:16 PM »
I have tried to search for the wing area of Billy's Thunderbolt with no luck.  I have the plans packed away in storage and can't get at them for a while.  Can anyone help?

Thanks,

James

Email Sparky. He's built three of them, I think.

This is one of the ones sparky built. Joey Mathison owns it. He'll put up a flight every now and then with it.

I did the CAD work for the kits that Chris Rud offered. The actual wing area is 677 square inches. the original plans state something like 700 plus square inches. I sell profile kits of the Werewage P-47 with the "Improved" wing with the larger chord.

Pat,

What size engine (glow) is recommended for your profile version, if it's around a .60, I may purchase one.

The first ones were  696  sq in, I think the  RED one  was  about 710

Don,
I bumped up the listing in the Vendors Corner. My kit has 719 square inches . It is for a .60 to a .67 engine.

Thanks,  Pat
