Hey Sparky, know you need something else to do so thought I would help  ;D

How about a Vendor Forum??? Invite all commercial vendors, kit makers engine suppliers, prop makers etc. to post a thread explaining their products and telling us a little about their business. Even could have someone else tell about a business if the owner doesn't have time or wouldn't mess with us.

For example Tower Hobbies, most of us have ordered from them but if someone with experience could tell us all the ins and outs of ordering from Tower it would be a valuable piece of info to others.

If a user wanted to know all the places he could buy a prop all he would need to do is search for "prop" in the vendors forum...

Would be nice if eventually anyone making anything for CL stunt would have an add in the forum. I would think they would want to be listed with a sampling of products, ordering, contact info and link to their web site if they have one....

Great idea, Bob. Pretty soon, Sparky can retire from his day job and become a fulltime Forum Administrator and really pull down the big bucks. <grin>

One of the beauties of my idea is all Sparky needs to do is set up the forum.. I would be willing to moderate it or he could pick someone, vendors would be doing all the work putting together the content.

You know that sounds like a good idea however I already set them up a store that has not been used. Maybe I'll just rename the auction site to Hobby Shop. The vendors call sell products there as it is and no one has used it.

In order for the store to work there has to be stock. People will look and maybe buy but if nothing is ever there nobody will even look. It takes time to grow. This site is a good example!

If the auction site were part of the forum like the "Classifieds", I do believe it would get more usage.  As it is, it is rather inconvienient.  You know how society is today........ you have to make things easy.  ;D

I like the idea of a Vendor's Corner.  I looked at the auction site and could not figure out what it was for.  I have my U/Tronics units listed on the "OnlyControline" web site and would be glad to also list them here.

I have an excess of fibre and nylon washers for adapting and sealing spraybars. Is this where I would post them?

If you folks knew how many LHS's Tower put out of business, you wouldn't buy spit from them.
