Mass Cup Winner!
« on: September 09, 2013, 06:39:09 AM »
Congratulations to Damian Sheehy for winning the Massachusetts Cup this past weekend!

This is Damian's 2nd Mass Cup win. The other finalists were Steve Yampolsky, Linheart Smith, and Jerry Ruzinski Jr.

The winner of each PA Skill class competes for the Mass Cup. You get 1 flight for the Mass Cup, and the pilot who increases his/her score by the greatest percentage (over their PA winning score) wins the cup.

Good job Damian!

Cool!
What's even cooler is the fact that we didn't have any crashes. The wind was 15+ all day.

The wind really picked up at the end of the day. On my last flight, the airplane was doing things normally considered aerodynamically impossible!!

And Steve, your Stoli Special was really zooming along through the pattern! I think you are ready for some fast combat.

I sounded like it was going 300 miles an hour but the lap times were more like 5.2. 40VF Paul Walker style of running has that effect.

Does anybody have scores for this contest?  A scoreboard picture would be helpful.

From first post.

Just the first 3 places and the Mass Cup results, which is all Chris recorded. See if you can find the other results.

Hi Paul and Howard,

I am checking to see if we still have the info. I didn't get a picture of the scoreboard this time.
