What to do
« on: December 27, 2019, 08:31:48 PM »
Well I glued the left side piece on the Fury as well as the other side piece for the tail weight box.   The stab/elevator and rudder are waiting to be installed.  Too cold to move stuff out side to keep cleaning the shop.  So I pulled the plans down that Dalton Hammett sent me and strted making patterns.  Once that was done I glued the other side to Fury.   Now to dig through the boxes of balsa and ply to start cutting.  This is going to be another fun build but the only change I think I will make is the flap set up.   The plans show a pushrod coming from bell crank to a nylon horn on inboard flap.  Same with push rod the elevator that I may leave as is.  I wonder about the gear mount(F-2 Former) if 1/8 balsa sandwiched between 1/16 ply will be durable enough,  Mat go to 3/32 ply.  But more later.  Oh I was going to start on another kit, but it is all laser cut which means it will go together fast.  D>K
