The Lark is for a guy named Bob Shaw, he is more of a colector than anything. He is the guy we built the Sweeper for.

The other plane is dad's Tempest XL. It's his PA 75 plane!  ;D

Beautiful work! Wish I had your skills but alas; I'm stuck with using films.

Nice looking plane.   It is better than mine.  I painted mine last weekend.  Here is a picture of it.  I'm letting it dry for a few days.

I am a better monokote man than painter.

Great workmanship....

Rusty

looks good. Nice paint scheme! ;D

Say, that Twister almost looks familiar.

I cried a little.... ;D

Looks like the stab too.  Molded 1/16" leading edge on that one.

Wow that is awesome!  But I bet there is nothing you guys can learn from me....you guys have it ten times over on me in speed and workmanship.  You probably saw some corner cutting in there though.  :)

Thanks for the compliments.

The Twister looks great.  I love to see that airbrush in his hands.  That is great stuff.

I learned the whole pattern on a Chrome monokote Twister and a Fox 35.  I beat the heck out of that plane and it just kept on taking it!!

Doug we can ALL learn from each other, that is one of the great things about our event. I asked dad why he brought it home and his answer was what i told you "I brought it home to learn from it". I learned everything I know from dad, and he is still a much better builder than I am. I am more like a bull in a china shop. I spend most of my time fixing my own dents and mistakes. n~

Derek,  it's great to see Gavin still staying involved.  We are about to get Gabe involved, too!  Gonna try to get Aaron to bring Gabe to Huntersville.  Maybe, maybe not, this Spring.

Wow, to think of what happened a couple years ago, and to see that shop now.  Didn't take long!
