trim color over butyrate

I want to put a nice insignia blue stripe on my clear butyrate finished plane but don't necessarily want to buy a whole container (randolph minimum is a quart) just for that. I know allot of stuff is compatible once it finished gassing but what will be fuel proof?  love to hear your recommendations including if I should just keep the whole thing butyrate.
