treasury report 210.00 short
« on: September 30, 2013, 09:28:38 AM »
Donations and treasury. Some have asked for a link to see where we need to be for the month. This server is costly and I have sent a donations treasury report link. We only have a few days left in this month so the totals are not correct for this month. If you wish to donate do so on this page http://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php?action=treasury  I will be updating all the link to take you here from now on.

Use this link please.

This has taken a ton of work to set up. It will automatically give you the badge or not your choice.

It is in Stunt Hangar's best interest to make it available to everyone on all browsers, however I am not a computer programmer this is just a second hobby to me. If someone asks for something I try to make it happen and I do most of the time. 90% of the visitors here run on MS systems I can see this in my control panel.

If I add something and you can not view it it because of something on your end I have no control over. I'm doing my best and I will try along with the 1000 other things to keep this forum running smoothly to get to it as soon as I can.

3 ways to donate use the treasury link- send a paypal directly to me or snail mail. If you need my address send me a PM or I am listed in the PAMPA directory.

At our current server rate it takes a minimum of $250 per month to stay alive any left overs will be used for giveaways.

344 views and 10% of the 300 to get even. After we hit that I will set it up for a yearly total and we will need to cover server costs by next June. Please lets not wait until the last minute. The reason giveaways have been down is there has been no funds left over. Server first and giveaways later. Next month we will start our Christmas drive. Stunt Hangar has given a Christmas gift sense we started and I would like to do that.

Chris, I use Firefox and have no problem accessing that link.  It might be something else.

Robert,
You may have thought of this before, if so, disregard.
How about a 'donation' of $10 (or $20, whatever it takes...) gets the member one chance in a raffle. The more you donate, the more chances you get. At the end of the month (or two months, whatever...) all the chances get thrown into a hat. Draw one and he's the winner. Start the cycle over for the next raffle.
The prizes might have to start out small, but once some revenue flows in they could get bigger.
Maybe this is how your giveaways already work, but I'm under the impression everyone is eligible, donor or not. This method might encourage more to be donors.

On-line contributions do not work for me.  I'm sending my $$ by US mail.

I am still mailing shirts so if you have not got yours yet its coming. The site profits very little on shirts. The cost of the shirt and postage eats most of it up. I do it as a service. I would have to sell 277 shirts to pay for the site. We do nowhere near that. Not even 1/4 of that and its a huge PITA.

I still need to re-coupe 200 from this years payment. Then we will work on 2014 payment due by May. So not a lot of time. You can see I am not getting rich at this.

Wake up guys/gals,  Sparky shouldn't have to use his $$$ to keep a great site going.    VD~

Today I found out that if I go to this link it works: http://stunthangar.com/smf/index.php?action=treasury

But not this one: http://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php?action=treasury

The second one is what I get when I click on Robert's link. Note hanger instead of hangar.

I hope that helps solve the mystery.

Still getting an error. Used your link, which worked but only if you do not try and log in.

Once again.  The USPS will deliver your check for the cost of a stamp.  You don't even have to struggle with your computer. Robert will give his mailing address in St. Louis MO if you ask.
