Toledo show is done
« on: July 11, 2020, 05:11:26 PM »
I just saw on an another site that the annual Toledo show is no more . The sponsors just felt that they could not do it justice any more . It may of been primarily a RC show but it had a lot of control line content . Around these parts it was like a right of passage/ pilgrimage every April to get together before the flying season.

I know I’m going to miss it . Where the heck are we going to get fuel ?

Brad, I dont know where you live but as far as I know they still have the one in Perry, Georgia every year.  When I lived there our club, GAMA sponsored the show.  With this damn Pandemic, who knows if they will have it next year.  It is usually held in February or March.

Thanks Mike ,
Georgia is maybe a bit further than I would probably go for fuel . Toledo was a 3-4 hour drive from Southern Ontario . Georgia is probably 1-2 days. Time to buy Stalkers and mix our own .

I understand Brad.  It is mostly an RC show but there are some things you can buy for control line as well.
