Toad Flight Report
« on: May 22, 2006, 09:21:51 AM »
Well, it's not a Toad. Maybe a Bullfrog. Got in the first two flights on the new plane. I think once trimmed, it will be decent. Not great, but decent. I doubt it will make the trip to Eugene for the Regionals, though. The backup flies pretty well and will probably get the nod. If the weather was going to be better this week, I could spend the time trimming it and perhaps get it in shape for the contest, but that doesn't look to happen so I'll have to go with what's flying well now.

First contest for the thing will probably be the Stunt-A-Thon in Puyallup, WA in June...if the weather improves.

Hey, there's always the Cobra.

Hi Randy,

Glad you coming to Eugene, you always have some surprises in your bag. Can't wait to see that old Cobra.

Randy,
This mean I don't need to trot out my spiffy new "pants" <snicker> and let you have a good peek at the manly garments of the great NW?  Glad that the "toad" morphed into the flying class nomenclature.  I'm thinking an ID of more suitable character should be attached to this beauty though.

Marv,

Well, I may get to get some more flight testing in. Seems I won't be at the Regionals this year. Some stuff came up and I'll need to stay around home, possibly fly out over the weekend. So, no Regionals for me. But if the weather cooperates, I may get some trimming in on the new plane. And it will be ready for the Stunt-A-Thon.
