Hello Peter,
I suggest you try 11x6x4 tractor carbon composite wide PolProp from Tomek Jadczak.
I have used Igor's 12x5x3 narrow and wide propellers since 2017 and could not believe how efficient 11x6x4 was. One of my F2B planes (1812 RTF weight, Plettenberg 15-22, TP 6S 2800, Spin66F2B, Target Throttle=145, and Igor's active timer) used about 2100 mAh to fly the pattern in small to moderate wind at 5.28 seconds per horizontal lap with 5 minutes 20 seconds flight time.
After switching to 11x6x4 Polprop ( and adjusting the Target Throttle to 128), the battery uses only about 1640 mAh. for pattern flight to maintain the same lap time. There is also sufficient power overhead and stronger winds, with the timer's sensitivity = about 50.
All this means that I can switch to 6S 2200 battery and save about 40 grams, bringing the RTF weight to 1772 grams.
Tomek's propellers (PolProp) usually need some balancing, but this was relatively easy in the case of 11x6x4.
The weight of the 11x6x4 wide blade is 25 grams.
I also switched to a little spinner and saved about 8 grams here.
Best Regards,
M
