There seems to be a need

While we had a separate forum for rules discussions before the crash there was no way to regulate it. I will start a new forum for rules proposals and discussions. This one is a little different and I will need a volunteer to hlep in its operation. This person will not only be a moderator but a administrator of forum functions.

New rules for registering will be your user name is your Real first and last name. Your display name is your AMA number. This will be checked against the AMA web site. The reason for this is obvious. We want current AMA members making proposals for rules we will be using. So let me know what you think.

Send me a IM for consideration for admin.

I vote Bob! I don't see him accidentally hitting that BIG RED BUTTON without knowing any better!  n~

Besides, he can follow a Motorola schematic and flow chart, so he knows how to troubleshoot things going BAD! ... ???

I'm not so sure about Bob. The first rule of electronics is not to let the smoke out of the circuit you are working on, and I heard Bob got caught trying to stuff the smoke back in. n1 n1  On the other hand, I have high regards for him, and think he would be excellent.

Thanks guys, but I don't have a big enough halo. Besides Sparky made it more trouble than it's worth to offer opinions that won't make any difference in the long run anyway.

How do you figure? Options that don't matter, where? You don't want to be part of the solution fine but please don't water it down for the rest. Why because I didn't choose you to moderate? I would rather have Keith Trostle or maybe DOC on board as they is on the CLCB and will have first hand knowledge as to how the people would vote.

Kinda cuts through the BS don't you think? I did use your sub category idea you just have to want to be there, not everyone does. We will make a difference this year as Stunt Hangar already has.

Agree, one of the board members would make the perfect moderator and no I wasn't upset.. Just thought I would throw my hat in the ring in case you couldn't find anybody.. You eluded to not having a volunteer and were still looking when I made the post. I really didn't expect you to pick me as we don't often agree on much of anything.

Well Bob to me none of these arguments are personal. I get heated in my beliefs but that does not mean that at the field I would not treat everyone as a friend. I have read the posts and I am going to look into Marvin's idea with a few twists. Everyone interested in the rules needs to get a tag to view the rules section.
