my buddy jan just dropped off a couple fox .35s with the new straps and tongue mufflers he made for them. they are real beauties. here's the pics.

Funny, it looks a lot like the lugs Fox cast onto many 35 cases. They were kind of weak though. This is much beefier.

The basic idea is that the muffler bears against the exhaust stack and does not put stress on the case like a standard strap on. Fox marketed a similar set up for the Fox model (50?) which had square backsides on the exhaust stack.
