TALON - Do I need another colour??????

we have a semi/fun scale comp coming up and I thought I would do a rendition of the T-38 Talon.....I am at the stage of pondering another camo colour to tie it all together....any thoughts on that from you guys?  maybe a lighter grey?

BTW, this is basically a Vector 40, just bashed a bit.....same numbers, wing etc....

It needs panel lines. Lots and lots of panel lines.

I know the pic look like the camo is green, but it is actually a dark grey....maybe the camera is playing tricks....anyway....i will add one more colour I think.....

I just love the looks of the T-38.
As for additional cammo, give that MS Paint thing a try.  Your pretty good at that.  Remember the Thunderbird scheme you gave mine?

Excellent kit-bash. It looks very good as is. But, you did such a great job you owe it to your plane to go a few steps farther! :-)

Randy is right, panel lines would help. I was pleasantly surprised how much of a difference they made on my P-40 camo scheme.

Another item that would help is a set of military decals: , EMERGENCY yellow triangle, FUEL, USAF, etc. The scale is around "1/5 scale". The T38 had a WS of around 25'. You may be able to get a plastic kit of a T-38 and photo copy their decal sheet onto AVERY (# 8665) stick on clear 8 1/2 x 11 sheets at a blown up 1/5 scale.

It reminds me of John Pointier's (sp?) T-38 for the mid-1970s. I probably still have the magazine it appeared in. What a cool plane.

Not as flashy as the pink one, but I still like it.
