Friday Oct. 19th
All circles open for practice.
4:00 Judges Seminar.
Friday night social 8:00 at Fish Camp in Huntersville.

Saturday Oct. 20
9:00am - Start for FAI Scale
9:30am – Start for Speed limit Combat. 1/2a to follow or Sunday.
10:00am Start for OTS, Classic, Profile & Basic Flight
4:00pm – American Flyer flyoff (404 gliders) (No entry fee)
Build & Fly Event (No entry fee)

Sunday Oct 21st
9:00am Start PAMPA Classes - Beg, Int. Adv. & Expert
9:00am Start or finish 1/2a Combat if required

Field:
Three paved circles & one grass circle, Separate grass combat area
Large shelter with tables for contestants, spectators.

Looking forward, greatly, to seeing you there, Howard.

I suspect the usual *suspects* from *up North* are coming down from what I hear. Guess we will have to contact the State Troopers as to what vehicles they will be driving so that they are allowed to cross the NC border!

Hi Ron,

Well since Stevie Boy is now one of those highfaluting *Experts*, I don't stand a chance, even up. But, "Old age and treachery beats youth and enthusiasm everytime". I just have to come up with a *plan*!

We will also be having a donation of items needed to help replace the things lost in Derek Barry's workshop fire.
Watt Moore and Willian Davis are driving to GA. friday to help build the Barry's new workshop. They will let us know what is needed.

Hi Steve,

After 15 months (and some pretty good PT) I can now fly with out the knee brace! I keep it around, of course, but it is gettting better, especially after I had to relearn how to balance on that leg without ligaments to stabilze the knee! LOL!!

I do start on the medical study for my insulin this week at the Medical Center. At least all the meds and materials are free!!! LOL!! Don't know much about what's going to be going on, but I know that it is going to take quite a while (starting at 7:00 AM!!) and then they go with me to my regular Doctor's office fro a physical or something, then.............

Glad to hear your Knee problems are getting better, Keep close eye on the Diabetes ,, We want you around for alot more contest .. Can't wait to see your new plane .. I found this old picture of You and Aaron.. What year???

I'm moving to Wendell NC in early November and will be down there the week of the 16th checking on our house. I hope to come over for Saturday and/or Sunday. I'll try and bring something so i can at least get in a couple of flights. I'm looking forward to linking up with some NC CL clubs. Where can I get some directions to the field?

HI William,

Thanks for the kind words.

The cap says it has to be post fall 2002. (a lot of my pictures "date me" as to what school I was at!) Since the plane is now 10 years old, I can't be any more specific! LOL!!

I have just been entered into a study at the local Medical Center which will take about 15 months, and I am hoping will get my health back into good shape. I let way too many health issues build up........ all the years as a football coach kept the "Superman Syndrome" mind set intact. "You mean I can't do what I did 35 years ago when I started??)

I'm really looking forward to being there on Friday!
