As I said in the other thread that is referred to above, the .25 event could be a winner. Lower key and less expensive. I also feel that this is a better size than going much smaller. Flaps have been added to the initial proposed rules.There are several airplanes that could be used for OTS; .25; Classic and Pampa classes. Very good for Intermediates in particular. The Still Stuka covers all of the events, Mackey's Bluebird is good for Classic and up. (I'm not sure if is OTS eligible)
Allowing new design and possible downsizing of current designs opens up a new world. As I said before I had an early Fox .25 in an airplane at the '61 Willow Grove Nats. I could reprise that airplane or use a new design. Even my "Hobo" could use a .25.
