I have heard of something like this in the past. My only concern with something like this is you can not raise your arm and raise the lines if you are flying off grass.

I like to do this right before a launch to try and prevent a line snag.

meh..... we used to do the same thing using a tetherball pole at the local schoolyard.

Gents,

     The local version of this launch at Ned Brown Woods is accomplished with a 55 gal. trash barrel to function as the pivot point.

Two out of three launches are successful.
