SSW Issue Resolution
« on: January 26, 2007, 11:23:25 AM »

All;

My thanks for the emails and messages concerning SSW.  Len has been on the phone with the techs and tracked down the problem - which was somehow, some way, clstunt.com and www.clstunt.com was left off of the list that is generated by the hosting ISP that is collated and sent out to the Domain Name Servers throughout the internet.  Depending on how often your ISP updates their DNS servers, the latest changes resulted in a broken link.  The ISP responded to the mistake immediately and a DNS listing update has already gone out.  It will take anywhere from a few hours to a few days to propogate through the internet.

SSW is not down.  If you can't get through using your normal link, try the following:

http://69.50.207.83/htdocs/dc/dcboard.php

You will have to log in again, but once in, you should have normal connectivity.

With a little luck this will all be resolved in a few days.

Again, thanks for the heads up.  And thanks to Bob Storick for the band width.

V/r

Alan;

Yep.  That started coming up right after I posted the fix and got word from Len that the techs from the ISP were distributing the solution.

Looks like the solution really broke things.

It will get fixxed.  Its a techie messup, not a software implosion.
