If you photoshop out the lines on the second photo it would like a real P-47 in final approach!

When you are only .67 points out of being 5th on the circle it's hard not to go for it. The winds were consistant 15 to 18 with gust to 25 or more. Got caught in a heavy gust adn lost it in the wing over. We had a wake at the edge of the circle for the recently departed..  ;D

I agree!  That is an AWESOME photo!!  WOW!!

Steve saw and said that was on his good flight on Friday when they had some decent weather.

Beautiful pictures, all of them.  Did not have camera, so I thank all who took pictures and posted them of the NATS.  Also Sparky does build beautiful airplanes.  Also didn't realize Steve was a lefty.  Thanks Steve for the fuel tank info.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday
