Some progress!
« on: February 11, 2012, 06:22:00 PM »
Well today I was well enough to get down to the basement and work on some models.

Got some detail work done on the Timewave, and some block hollowing on the P-47.  The P-47 is going to take some time, I ave 4 blocks to hollow and only have two finished.

Got to do a cockpit for the Timewave and pilot.  Then it is on to the finishing process.  Typical dope and filler finish.  SLC over the foam wings and then silkspan over everything.

Feels good to get something done!

Have been wondering how you were coming Bill.
Sounds like it went good. #^

Yours was much different than mine but at the end of it I found sensitivity problems to Dope, Epoxy....
From skin to breathing.
Few months later all was fine!

Be careful! and take care!

Big Bear, glad to hear you are able to get back to it.   Now don't push it and put yourself down again.    H^^

Also glad you guys mae it thru the Chemo therapy.   I am going to a visitation of a former co-worker that was getting ready for chemo when he suffered a stroke.  A day in the hospital and back home only to have a more severe stroke a couple of days later.   Never made it home from the second stroke.  He was only three years younger  than me.   :(

Hello Bill,
It is good to hear that you have managed to get some building done. From experience, I know how long it takes to get back in the swing. Keep it up, you are doing fine!

Best Wishes,

Andrew.

I do have two more treatments to come.  This coming Wednesday and on the 29th.  Then I should be getting my strength back, etc..  The only real change recently has been more nausea........  but I have pills for that! LOL!!
