I've purchased socket head cap screws (black oxide finish) in quantity from Micro Fasteners at pretty reasonable prices. Unfortunately, they offer only a limited number of sizes.
OK, now that I've shared EVERYTHING I know about these animals ... what's the scoop?
I'm using these primarily as engine screws. What's the best material/finish for our use?
Does anyone offer a wide range of sizes in quantities of 50 - 100 pieces? (I'm especially looking for metric.)
Even common engines, such as the O.S. line, seem to use a dizzying variety of screws; trying to find replacement screw sets at ANY price for the Out Of Production varieties can be a real time-consuming project.
Suggestions/Answers? Thanks!
Dennis
