Sig Twister Wing Ribs
« on: August 12, 2020, 09:16:56 AM »
Does anybody do a Laser cut set of these ribs? The ribs in the kit were rock hard and heavy, yes I could cut a new set, but was checking to see if any laser cut ones were available first.

Just a thought.  Mine were the same, maybe not as bad but harder than I wanted.  I just hollowed them out more.  I wasn't overly concerned with weight since I was building electric and I needed something to balance that obscenely heavy battery.  I came out at 52 oz and it flew like it thought it was a PA.  In all fairness, I added half ribs and an extra 4" of span to support the weight.

Mike at RSM has the laser cut file for the ribs. Call him at 951-678-1406 or e mail an order to him at rsm1rule@rsmdistribution.com. You can also order through the web site.

Looks like Mike does not have them, I will seek out another source. Thanks for the try!

Check with Walter.

He should have the cutting files for Bob Kruger's Fancher Twister.

Hi Keith, yes I make the Fancherized Twister, so I can cut you a set if you like.
I know they're the same but I can also cut them for the Banshee if you want them too. Just covering all the bases. ;)
Can cut them from 1/16 or 3/32 regular wood or Contest wood if you like.
Thank you and God Bless
