Doubt it, the wing is an easy build and being constant cord easy to build straight.

I am sure that Crist Rigotti could do it for you, he is listed in the vendors corner. He did the cores for my bf109, they are great

Crist cuts some nice wings and at a fair price.
If he does not have the template you may have to provide him with one.

You may have to wait as he gets busy at times.

Didn't I see where Phil Cartier's Corehouse listed foam wing cores for the Sig Twister?

Yes I did.  http://home.earthlink.net/%7Ephilcartier/

Where?  I didn't see any mention of a Sig Twister.  How about more details please.

Phil Cartier of Corehouse sold a few of the Twister wings years back. Bought one at Lebanon.

Crist,
next to the picture of the Giles, under the ad for true beam wing, then down
you will see a price for $45.00. Now look under that in finer print and you will
see G500X tapered and TWISTER for $35.00
( I have no idea what a G500X or whatever it's called actually is?)

Does anyone make a foam core wing for the Twister?

Crist cuts cores for the Hunt RD-1.  The RD-1 and the Twister wings are virtually identical in airfoil and dimensions.

I don't have one of Crist's RD-1 cores handy right now, but the chord should be 8 1/4" less the flaps, and it should be 1 7/8" thick (including the sheeting)

Crist - if you have any RD-1 cores kicking around, would you do a quick measurement?

I've used both Crist's and Phil's cores.  Quality of both is without question.

I remember discussing the RD-1 with Bob when it was "new".  My oldest, Aaron, and Robby got to be pretty fair Buddies, and Aaron built the RD-1 (with foam wings) to be his first Contest plane.  He now has a built up wing RD-1 for Profile class and practice.

We used the Webra 28 which when mounted sideways didn't have the burp that caused Bob to eventually swap the 28 out for a 32 in the Tucker he published.  Aaron ended up with all Bob's 28 parts, including the one that was used in the Tucker Special.  The Webra 28 is a strong little engine! y1

The RD-1 wing vs. the Twister............. same, same for all intents and purposes. ;D

The RD-1 cores are the same but the Twister cores are 3/4 inch longer.

Thanks, Crist.  I didn't even think about the WS.  A "minor" consideration...... **)

Good point.  Something that can be easilly remedied by adding 3/8" or 1/2" tips, or just asking you to cut them to Twister length.... :-)
