    If yours has nice decals, make some sort of scans, copies, whatever if you can. Those are a great size for a lot of .35 to .40 models. I have a builders kit but I don't think the decals are worth messing with.

  Only problem there (if you care) is that the overall proportions are not correct, most noticeably the red line in the bars but the blue around them is thin too. The shade of blue is also way wrong. Other than all that they're fine.
 
 If you want accurate "off the shelf" insignias use either Major Decal or Sig. The other added bonus with them is the red in the bars is included on the sheets but left as optional.

 I've got a pristine NIB Sabre Stunt on my shelf, a really neat design from my favorite era in our hobby. I hope to get it built someday, if so I think I'd stretch the fuse two inches or so. Nice score with yours.

This was the first full fuse stunt plane I built.  Always a favorite of mine regarding looks.  I bought a kit several years ago.  After looking at the wood, I wonder how I ever got it built when I was a kid.  It's on the build list!

Haven't decided what to do yet, the first and probably the right choice is to scratch build it with good wood but the cost of balsa and shipping is so crazy now I might build the kit, we'll see, and yes the decals look to be in good condition.

     Search around on the forums here, and I think we have discussed the history of the design. My brain isn't working yet, but if I remember correctly, the Jetco Sabre Stunt is the same design as the Wicked Witch, which was published in either Air Trails  or American Aircraft Modeler magazine, or another very similar looking F-86 stunt model , which the name and designer escapes me now. Mark Hughes built one from a kit many years ago and flew it at VSC and it didn't do  to badly. The Saber Stunt suffers from the "thin airfoil syndrome" that struck a lot of published designs that were then kitted, and te airfoil massaged a bit thinner to get them all on a standard sheet of balsa. Might not be a world beater, but certainly a cool looking airplane!

That could make it a candidate for electric power as they seem to do a bit better with thinner airfoils than IC. Sacrilegious, I know, but it could work.
