At least your wife didn't drive over it like Ted Fancher's.
A number of years ago, I shot catalyzed polyurethane topcoat on a plane. It was shot outside and I brought it into the shop to cure. It was a hot day and I left the shop door open. I came back a couple of hours later and the plane had twisted in the stooge holding it, there were drag marks all down the top of the wing and a dead bat on the floor, apparently overcome by the fumes. It was sort of repairable, but I had to sand out all the paint back down into the substrate repair the damage and reshoot it all. Unfortunately, the plane flew like, well, crap.
