Regular Doctors check ups are important

           I was trying to decide whether I should post this or not, but decided reminders are sometime to important not to share. Late September my wife went for her first mamagram (at age 40, thank God she didn't have to wait until the age of 50 like a certain party was pushing). The test showed some "dense" tissue, not an unusual occurrence. She was called back for a second test which led to a biopsy that detected breast cancer. By God's grace we caught it at stage 0 (didn't even know there was a stage 0). Surgery to remove the spot was the Monday before Thanksgiving and she is now having radiation treatment daily. She has no family history of this type of cancer, was having no issues whatsoever.

The morale here, the check ups we all (guys and gals) need to have aren't fun but make sure we do them.

Thank you, He has.  She was sussposed to have it back in April but was rescheduled.  The Doc's said it probably wouldn't have been caught if she hadn't come in later in the year.

Great news that it was caught in time.  My wife has been going for check ups for numerous years.  Neighbor lady up the street went thru all chemo and radiation therapy when whe was diagnosed as having breast cancer.  When she started losing her hair, Don, her husband went and had his head shaved.  They are a great couple and it has been well over three years since she was called clean.  But, she still goes in for check ups and I guess he is being checked also with blood tests.  Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as it was great having dinner we all of you last year.  Look forward to this year.

My Docter says I should come in more often. He says that his morgage payments are real important on this time of his career. I wonder what he ment by that ?

Oh how I hate needles.  This time tho the tech was able to pull blood from the arm.  Still hurts,  the wife says I am a big sissy.  The doctors rep called and said every thing is still okay.  Hope Jim and his lovely wife keep getting great news.

Thanks for the well wishes, Beth is doing very well.  She's close to half way through the radiation regiment, worst part is it's like a sunburn and fatigue catches up with by weeks end.
