Red Max fuel
« on: May 25, 2009, 05:46:10 PM »
Fellows I live in South Louisiana (a few miles from Baton Rouge) and I am looking for some Red Max glow fuel 5%-10% nitro. Does anyone know where I can buy it?
    Thanks, Gil

Gil,

You should still be able to order it from Clover, SC. If the HAZMAT frosts yr shorts, like it does mine, d'you have any contacts in GA or SC who might be able to do an in-State "bootleg" to you?

Only caution: RedMax is the outfit that brought up the "castor scandal" about 10 years back. Apparently, some fuel companies chose to use chemically purified castor instead of pressed filtered. Chemical residues caused various problems, which RedMax published widely. Haven't heard much of this since, so presume things are resolved.

All the above given, prices are nice, and they will blend what you need if order quantity justifies.

LUCK!
