Rebuilt Ringmaster
« on: March 02, 2009, 06:35:37 AM »
After nearly two years, I have rebuilt my Ringmaster I crashed at Texarkana during an official flight in some pretty high winds.  New wing and tail surfaces and stripped off the old paint down to the CF covering. I used Rustoleum white primer and Duplicolor white and light blue for the canopy. Weighs in at 24.33 ozs with 1/2 oz of tip weight.  Still need to terminate the leadouts and glue in the hinges...it may also need a pushrod installed :)  I do expect it to be a blast to fly.  Brodak 25 for powerand the prop installed was close by.

Zuriel,
You do some nice work. Very simple and clean. I am glad you got the spelling right on this one buddy.

I can not wait to see that "other" plane you are working on. I am still waiting on the pictures. HB~>

Maybe, just maybe you will show them here?

I can not wait to see them fly... maybe in a few weeks we can have a "Spring Fling".

Of course I didn't see the original nor the crashed plane, but all things considered, I like it. It's clean, straight, and shines like a new dime. Good job...now show me the "rest of the story"  ;D LL~

John,

I work just down the road from you in Bryant.  I'd be glad to show you the rest of the story.

You mean you know where Tulip is and you nerver saw us flying right beside the highway?  I'm doing some more work on our new flying field this year...away from the highway and power lines.....I have a few trees to cut and a few fire ant hills to eradicated and it'll be ready for 65'/70' lines. The trees had grown in and we had to shorten to 55'. Not good for fast planes. Where did you get your start in UC and where do you get your supplies? If you don't mind divulging that much info! H^^
