Problems with backplates.
« on: July 12, 2010, 07:29:21 PM »
Has anyone had problems with the 40/46 CNC backplates not fitting the bolt pattern? If so I will replace them. I had 1 person with problems. Just checking due to me letting someone else load the machine for me.

Thanks and please let me know.

I make the 15/25/40/46 LA CNC backplates. I had a person e-mail me that 3 backplates did not fit his motors. I am wanting to know if anybody else has had a problem with them fitting. I am replacing the 3 that did not fit and I will check all of the ones I still have on the shelf. Just trying to head off a problem before it gets out of hand.

Curtis , good morning from S.W.France.

May I ask please how much your Back Plates are for the OS 46LA ?

Also , can your post to France and how would you wish to be paid please ?

Just want to be prepared for when my standard plastic plate 'gives up the ghost' !

Kind regards ,

Robin

Backplates are $12.00 each with shipping $3.00 up to five pcs. I take paypal, check, money order and cash. I have checked all of the backplates in stock and can find no problems. It seems I have 3 bad plates sent to one person.

Yeah, mine fit too. One screw hole is *slightly* off, but still no problems here. My .25 backplates are perfect too.

Did you drill out the hole or were you able to put it on as it came. I am looking for any problem and trying to correct it and replace the offending backplates. I checked my program on the machine and no problem and I checked the ones I have in stock still no problem. I guess I will wait to see the 3 that are coming back.

Thanks to all who replied, just trying to maintain a good product.

If you were asking me, I didn't need to drill the hole out. It went on as it came, but the screw sort of dragged the side of the hole as it went in. No biggie to me, and it doesn't leak.
