Preserving Sterling Plans.
« on: March 06, 2011, 12:58:46 PM »
Hi everyone.  I have started a project to preserve Sterling plans at Hip Pocket Aeronautics Builders Forum.  You can see the start of it here: http://www.hippocketaeronautics.com/hpa_plans/categories.php?cat_id=60 you may need to be a member to view, but joining is free and easy!  And before you ask, yes I know about the site that is also preserving Sterling plans, etc.  Unfortunately you have to either pay for plans, or trade for them.  I want a site that anyone can go to and download for free.  I want it to be on a site that we know is going to be around for a long time and HP is going to be.  I know the owner! LOL

I would like for everyone to go thru their respective plans collections and dig out anything they can find, plans, box art, decals, etc.  Any peice is worth preserving.  They can either send it to me (gravitywell2011@gmail.co) or post it themselves at the above URL.  If you are not a member, you would have to join to take advantage, but its free and easy.

Thank you all for your time, trouble and effort to help.  Really appreciated.  After we get this going, we are going to choose another defunct manufacturer.....so please help and have fun.

Hi Wynne.  For now we are concentrating on Sterling.  Later, once we have the "formula" down pat, we will be expanding out to other defunct manufacturuers.  We would love to have anything you may have.  Every piece is one step closer.

ps....you wouldn't happen to have an electronic copy if Hi Johnsons Stuka would you? #^
