I know the plans call for a foam wing.
Anyone built one using ribs?

Check outerzone

I would think so. It’s a New Zealand design.

From what I read it was a killer combo with a LA 46.

think he said it was a yatsenko take  off .

They were doing them in light foam & very light balsa & solarfilm . With no ' seperators ' in the middle , Ive seen Bryce Gibsons Sea Fury version bowing / cresenting its wing , looping in a stiff breeze .
At least 3 inch bow . So a vertical thing or two in there'd stop it closeing & colapseing , if you were kite flying .
