Still looking for a few candidates.......let’s not let YOUR district go unrepresented.  The pay is lousy but the hours aren’t too bad.

ATTENTION PLEASE  !!!

You should have received your PAMPA voting ballot this evening.  We are asking you go ahead and vote as soon as possible.  Our Survey Monkey account requires us to renew on the 21st and pay almost $400.00 to continue another year.  We'd like to get this vote done and simply cancel our subscription when we get the vote in.  We will be looking for something less expensive next time.  SO PLEASE get your vote in no later than the 20th so we can shut 'er down.  Remember to vote for President and then only YOUR District Director if that spot is open (odd numbered Districts)  If you are in an EVEN numbered district you will only vote for President.

Thanks!

I wanted to bump this message up once again.  I have heard some concern about not allowing enough time for folks to find the ballot in their emails.  I am sorry to cram the time frame up.  We didn't give thought to the renewal date for Survey Monkey until we opened the site to begin preparing the ballot.  Since we have NO contested offices this time we already can presume the outcome,  in my opinion.  My thinking is if we don't have to spend the money then let's save it when we can.  It's possible we MIGHT go back to a snail-mail ballot next time since we already have to now generate mailing labels for the newsletter.  I doubt the actual return rate on mailed ballots will be as high as emails but in any case we always have missed a percentage of returned ballots anyway.  I had even given thought of simply calling the election by decree since there are no contested offices but decided it better to do it the more normal way.  In any case please go check your email (paid members) for your ballot and get it turned back around ASAP.  I have gotten messages from a few about not getting a ballot-BEHOLD!  They were expired and didn't realize.  I'm not sure how possible it now is to send you a ballot if you join or renew today.  If you have been a member in the last two years you should have received an auto-email about renewal.  If you are longer out- you have never gotten your data entered into the new system.  Get signed up and it should not be an issue again.

Thank You!

Yes Ty, on line.  Not sure what to tell you about your computer.  Actually my phone does the same thing.  It won't answer any number I don't have in my contact list......a GREAT thing usually.   Someone told me they found their ballot in their spam or junk folder.  In your case the only vote would be for President.  All Mark had to get was one vote to be elected-I know he got mine....

We have roughly 325 paid members at present.  All who had a current email in the system got ballots- including international members.  At our peak circa 1980 we had about 1700.

I just realized that the new terms for PAMPA leaders begins April 1st......April Fools Day! Hmmmmm

I have learned some things about our CL stunt community by volunteering my time and whatever expertise I might have at the Triple Tree Stunt Championships and Stunt Camp (10 years and counting), the Brodak Fly-In (7 years and counting), and our National Championships in Indiana (2019 Event Director and 2021 Flight Judge).

I have been asked a simple question many, many times by close friends as well as others....."Why?" My reason for doing what I can is very selfish. Since dedicating myself back to my roots into CL, I have never met a finer group of people, and these folks are as deeply connected to our great sport/hobby as me. I just don't want to see CL Stunt evaporate before my eyes.

I can promise you that I will do everything I can to protect and grow our wonderful community of Precision Aerobatic Model Pilots and work closely with all of you. PAMPA is not the Board and the leadership team. PAMPA is an organization of many individuals who have at least one thing in common....the love of what we do!

Be well and please let me know what I can do for our sport and organization
