     Mornin Guy's,
      I posted this on another thread and am lookin for the answer.
  I have a kit built P Force that flies like it is nose heavy.
  I have an OS 32 SX with apc prop, stock muffler and a 1oz brass prop washer.
   I had to do this to get the c/g where Mike indicated it on the plans (2" back of l/e at fuse)
    Like I said it flies nose heavy, but I sure don't want a tail heavy model.
   How about some suggestions...

Are you getting full control deflection?  Also it could be your handle spacing.  But, don't be afraid to add a little tail weight.  I don't know how the 32 compares to a LA 25 or Fox 35, but, I have not added tail weight to either one.  I would start off first by getting rid of that 2 ounce spinner nut.  Also is the measurement equal to the spar location?  Have fun,  DOC Holliday

Gil,
I'm really surprised that a kit (as opposed to the ARF) needed all that nose weight to balance.  The only ones I have seen balanced OK with an FP or LA 25.  Your OS32 must weigh over 9 oz with the stock muffler!  I assumed that the ARF needed a lot of nose weight (8.5 oz engine) due to heavy wood in the fuselage.  If I were you, I would try removing the brass weight on the engine shaft and fly it again.  This should tell you if it is a nose heavy condition you are dealing with without moving the CG to an unflyable situation.  My ARF balances at 2 inched back from LE and it really turns.

Hi Gil,

I know it is properly "square", but just how much line spacing do you have?  Billy once told me NOT to add tail weight to a plane but to first increase the elevator throw and widen the line spacing.......  Worth a shot.

     Guy's, Sure do 'ppreciate all the reply's ..  The line spacing is 4" just like the old Hot Rock small handles. The l/o's are where Mike suggested, so I think that will be close.
    I am gonna try to drop the brass flywheel washer and see what that does, oh the throws are about 40-45 deg each way.
   Another flyer with P Force has his c/g at about 2 3/4" back of the wing and it isn't sensitive at all, when flyin' or landin'.
   His is powered by an Older OS 35 S with tongue muffler, and I think a wooden prop. ???  So I know that engine doesn't weigh what the OS 32 SX with ball bearings weighs...
       Again thanks for the help...
