Go to the mountains, add six camels, three white Toyota trucks, five adobe buildings and you are in Afghanistan.
That plane will be happier going left under power. Some left thrust and tab will help. It's always fun when you hafta duck.
DANE,do you know that they make itty bitty receivers and servos for planes like that? They are lots of fun to steer around and not crash! Cheers, Jerry
Those poor free flight club members had no idea! Ha
It's hard to believe that none of them knew to fly a Cabin model left under power.
They're simply very polite. They possibly thought I knew what I was doing? Haha
Dane, you have a real sweetheart of a place there to fly. Way cool I must say. Ken
They possibly thought I knew what I was doing?
But what would be the fun in that? Model airplanes are always more fun when you don't know what you are doing. And like Dan said, you need for it to circle to the left. Next, you need to add some lines....
Well, polite is nice but a plane in the ear makes a statement.
While it's true that the convention is for cabin models to turn left and pylon models to turn right under power, I had a pylon model that flew perfectly to the left. Of course, I insisted otherwise and it crashed to the right. I got looking at the wing (a Starduster X wing and stabilizer), and it had wash-in in the left wing. I'm not huge on FF gas experience, but I'm wondering if the wash-in makes more difference than the fuselage configuration? I've got a 1/2a Mini-Pearl downstairs that needs a TD .049 and a Seelig MiniCombo....or a new home. It flew ok, except it glided about as well as Howard's Impact. Steve
