OS LA40
« on: April 23, 2009, 09:59:53 AM »
I was looking thru my Tower flyer I just got, and noticed that the LA40 was missing from the section where the LA25 and46 were. Did OS stop making this great little engine? ???

Greg

You've been gone SOOOO long - welcome back!!!!

Yeah they stopped the 40 a year or so ago...the 46 is lighter, stronger, and a better stunt engine anyway - so no big loss on the 40

Now instead of p-40 events, We just have "Profile" Events.//// I love my OS 40 LA. It has some parts from "Jim Lee  Machine" and is better than any thing else I have right now.  Watch for a 40 at the RC Swap meets or on the web sites.

Like Wynn said, take the .46 and run.

Yea, I have 2 46's. I'll end up using those of course. I was thinking about putting one in my recently reconstituted arf Cardinal. There was just something about the 40 that did it for me.

Howdy Wynn, I'm finally recovering from the big D. I got wiped out worse than I should have been. I even got rid of my internet to save cash, thats when I quit posting and messaging you guys. I have good internet now at work, so I can be back for a while.

Hows the little shaver? he tearing the place up? making mom crazy? he drawing on the walls yet? can I send him crayons?  VD~

I am actually building again, and is it good! the new little woman is liking that less and less.  She sees how much time I actually spend in the basement and asks if I'm done yet. hahaha  she has no idea.

So as I complete grafting the nose section back on the arf Card, I was thinking about my faithfull LA40, or breaking in my NIB 46 I have stashed. Hmmmmm, things that make you go "hmmmm".

All in all, things are good again

I'll hit you again later  8)
