I fly 3 Curtis Shipp backplates (all OS La46) in 3 different planes which I'm very happy with.
It's just the BEST what you can do to your OS La's.
Forget the black plastic bs they will cause Problems sooner or later in the Long run.

Hi all.

I received today four alu LA 46 Backplates from Curtis Ship.
Greatly impressed with the excellent quality. In my opinión a very good improvement for the LA 46 plastic unit. Awesome qty/cost ratio.

    There is a more recent thread over on Stuka Stunt with Curtis' current contact information. He's not very active on the forums, so a direct email is probably the best way to contact him. He has a busy machine shop business so give him some time to respond.

Send him $24 plus $3 for shipping ($27) by Paypal (his PayPal email is mentioned above) , mention what size you want in the PayPal message (La 46, La25 or LA 15) and you will usually get them within 10 days.

He is often too busy to reply to email requests.
