Not CLPA, but pure BS
« on: June 28, 2025, 11:02:30 AM »
Hey troops, just curious, but are any of you getting 6 phone calls a day from some ass wanting to but "your property" , asking if you have benefits A and B with Medicare, asking if you remember the auto accident you

were in two years ago and is the payment still pending???  Some times I even get a call from one of my kids..   Oh, and all with Indian accents, but named James or Bill.. Then there is the smooth talking sob asking for

funds for some non existant police organization.. None of my cops ever heard of it.. D>K  Asking for a friend. LL~

Just tell them to send a check as big as they can make it.

I get job offers all the time. I think from my LinkedIn profile. They must not read it cause it says retired on a beach somewhere. 🌴

The house buyers call and ask if I'll sell. I tell'em "certainly, everything is for sale. Make an offer"
They yap about assessing and other crap for a fair offer. It does take them a while to understand when I tell them a 'fair' offer is not in play.

On another note---- on StuntHangear there is a constant barrage of Large-Breasted Mattress Thrashers at the top of the screen. Has anyone ever met one of them?

I don't waste any time doing that.  If I don't get a "click" I give them one.
I also seem to be missing out on the " Large-Breasted Mattress Thrashers".  How come I don't get them?

The scammers never quit.  Always a new one showing up.  Here is a rundown of what I remember:

1.  Medicare Shipping Dept.   They want to know if I got my new card yet.  Just a phishing attempt to get your card number.

2.  Family Medical Center.  What the hell is that?  Caller said they work with Medicare to maintain records and that they lacked the name of my primary care physician.  I told him my primary care physician was Dr. Henry Jekyll.

3.  Texas Sheriffs Organization, Texas State Troopers Organization, National First Responders Organization.  All scams.

4.  Would you like to sell your house?  Sure, it is yours for $5 million.  Still want it?

5.  The new Trump administration has made available new Medicare plans....... blah, blah, blah.

6.  Orthopedic Medical Center.  Caller says "we have information that you have pain in your back and knees."  They want to sell you a $50 back brace for $1,500.

7.  Genetic Testing.  Caller says "we can screen you for risks such as cancer, stroke, etc."  I said "so can my doctor."

8.  Your recent purchase (Apple, Amazon, etc.)  Caller (a bot) says we are billing your account the amount of $839.  If you did not make this purchase, please call.

9.  You are eligible to get a tax refund (or credit).  Caller is a bot, of course, and says to call the following number to speak to an agent.

Add in the scam emails which are too numerous to mention.

I assume everything is a scam unless I can prove otherwise.
