For close-up & macro work, I turn off the flash and use ambient light with a tripod, due to those bright spots and glare. This one is only about 12" high collapsed and is useable at that height. Light, too.

Pete Peterson and Mike Haverly's ride are always beautiful both on the tarmac or in the air. These guys are truly put on a great show today for all the commuting air traffic that was comin' in and going out all day.
What a beautiful rare 63 degree day..light winds and drop dead beautiful dark blue sunnnnnny skies.
