Had to replace the wife's camera- bought an Olympus Stylus 7010, 12mp w 7x optical zoom Olympus lens.
Cropped this pic with Irfan view i about 20 sec- started out at 2meg
Looks like it worked fine. Now I need to get to Phoenix and get those ribs in the Twistang wing and finish that project.

I like the first one better for some reason. LL~ LL~ Ribs look good. I can see there not laser cut as the lightening holes would be in them already. S?P

For close-up & macro work, I turn off the flash and use ambient light with a tripod, due to those bright spots and glare. This one is only about 12" high collapsed and is useable at that height. Light, too. y1 Steve

Those razzzaaamaaatazzz pealeee' flippity floppity colors against that bold bright blue sun filled sky is a real EYE CANDY TREAT FOR THE OL' EYEBALLS......
too bad to see his engine's got a bearing or crankshaft problemo'.....(apx.100 flights or so on that engine)
Pete Peterson and Mike Haverly's ride are always beautiful both on the tarmac or in the air. These guys are truly put on a great show today for all the commuting air traffic that was comin' in and going out all day.
What a beautiful rare 63 degree day..light winds and drop dead beautiful dark blue sunnnnnny skies.
I THANK GOD FOR THIS DAY...AND WE TRULY DID REJOICE IN IT! H^^

No laser in my garage, but a 10" Ryobi band saw, and a disk / belt sander knocked 18 of the Twister 1/2 ribs out in about 10 minutes. I'll drill a hole through the stack and make the center cut out with my scroll saw.
As far as the exposure / settings, I just put it on Auto and snapped it, then re-sized in IRfan View. I am a quick and easy kind of guy. I do like the short Tri-pod, I don't think mine goes down that far.
