New Buccaneer 746 Profile Kit

The New Profile Buccaneer Profile kit will be coming out in the near future. If you want to place your name on the list please let me know.  Also want you to know that if you do put your name on the list, your are certainly not obligated to buy anything but it will give me a better idea of how much material I will need to order.

I cannot publish a price yet because I am still waiting on material cost and laser cutting costs.  However, I can tell you it will be very affordable compared to planes of its size on the market. 

It will have a built up balsa rib wing and the fuselage will be built up and will come to you laser cut so you do not have to glue a bunch of internal sticks together for the core.

Several people have asked me about the specs on this model.


OK guys here you go with the specs:

Wingspan - 57 3/4"

Wing area - 642 Sq In

Fuselage Length - 41"

Nose Moment - 9 3/4"

Tail Moment - 16"

Chord - 10" at root

Root Rib - 2 1/4" thick

One of the changes will be that the tail area will be increase to 29% of the total wing and flap area with the stab being 55% of the area and the elevator being 45% of the area.

Engine Rec -  .51 -60  with heavy emphasis on the .60
