Attached are .PDF files Dave gave me from the official program.
Weather started out windy, got drizzly, then stopped drizzling, but stayed windy:
http://w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KMIE.html I drew flight number 1, at 08:00, which I thought would give me relative calm, but it was pretty yucky. My second flight was in a stiff breeze. I sorta enjoyed it, thanks to my pals helping with the trim. They reported that my triangle bottoms were about four feet too low. That was close enough to five feet for me, but I was annoyed by the little dip I made at the third corner of the second triangle. After the flying was over it got downright pleasant.
Mike Haverly had a lovely flight going until an ill wind moved the first lobe of his clover about 30 feet northwest of where it should have been. He finished the maneuver and got his paternity points. Mike and Kaz are Team Japan for the second consecutive year. Hiki-san had to work and couldn't come. Kaz is flying very well, as the scores show.
Today was Pauls Walker's and Winter's birthday.
