As stated, President Trump is not liked by most people for the way he acts at times,  the look on his face and the way he talks.  He does repeat his self a lot of times.  What has the present politicians up set about him so much is that he is getting done what should have been done 40 years ago.  But, in reality the President can only do so much if he doesn't have the people behind him in congress and the senate.   I too dislike some of what he does but he has my vote come election day.   S?P

Something to think.
Here's some food for thought
THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A SECOND IF YOU AREN'T CLOSED MINDED!
Create a VIRUS to scare people. Place them in quarantine. Count the number of dead every second of every day in every news headline. Close all businesses. 40,000,000 out of jobs. Peak unemployment. Remove entertainment: parks, gyms, bars, restaurants, sports. No dating. No touching. Mask people. Dehumanize them. Close temples and churches. Create a vaccine. Let depression and anxiety and desperation set in.
THEN... ignite hatred and civil war. Civil unrest. Empty the prisons because of the virus and fill the streets with criminals. Send in ANTIFA to vandalize property as if they are freedom fighters. Undermine the law. Loot. Attack law enforcement, but tell government to order a stand-down. We are all being baited by an adversarial government who wants to destroy America - And, in an election year, have Democrats blame all of it on the President.
Can’t take America in a war, destroy it from within.
We are being conditioned, manipulated, and programmed by multiple agendas as never before.....time to DO OUR OWN RESEARCH and MAKE UP OUR OWN MINDS rather than eating everything being spoon-fed to us! SOCIAL MEDIA is going to kill us!
If you love America, our Constitution, and the Rule of Law, get ready to fight for them.
Copy and paste like I did if you think this is a possible explanation for the World being upside down right now!

Here is more of a slam dunk:

This Swiss professor has been around the block a few times with viruses so although it's a looooooong interview just the opening 10 minutes should whet your appetite for some science with common sense.

Just found out yesterday that my longest term hobby friend had a bout of Covid, courtesy of his oldest daughter that lives with him. (She brought it home from her work at Home Depot.)

He recovered at home with out need of oxygen. She also recovered at home and she is now serving her quarantine time before she can return to work. In his words it was like a case of the flu.

He's 87, by the way.

Yes, this Covid stuff is "out there", but it's far less "lethal" than is being hocked by the MSM. Grossly padded numbers and hysteria pushing agendas will do that for 'ya and such will sure help to keep fear-mongering strong and healthy.

Official figures say that in the whole of England in the last 24 hours, the number of deaths related to COVID-19 was 6.  That's right, SIX.  They didn't tell us how many people died of e.g. influenza in the same 24 hour period, but I'll wager it was at least as many.  It's my feeling that the restrictions are getting so irksome that the mass of people will soon start ignoring them.  From what I hear, people in France and Germany are in much the same mood.

I just looked in and saw that a play of mine has received a review by a fan. That play earned 4000 dollars by the by. Premiered at the Public Theater, NYC. It is called Quick Fast in a Hurry. Public Theater originated Chorus Line, Rent plus others you may have heard of. Maybe you heard of Hamilton. Audience booed Pence. Way ahead of the curve. Quick Fast has been published  three or four times. It’s in my first book published by a long time poetry press. DIstinguished company. I’m the only playwright in their catalogue. Our reviewer found it erotic. I suggest he try sex live with a willing partner. Oh. Probably beyond his capacity. You’re hitting me where it hurts, sir. My gut hurts from laughing. Not a bad record for eleven pages of text I wrote in two weeks.

The effectiveness of masks and social distancing aren't really known because they are extremely difficult to replicate.
I was extremely sad to hear of Herman Caine's death.  He was a good man.  He did have multiple complicating issues- age, black, other illnesses over the years likely affected his lungs, and more.  If he was infected at the event there is no way to show if the venue was part of the problem.

It is known, for sure, that a surgeons and surgery attendants wear N-95 masks to protect the PATIENT.  N-95 means the mask design has been accurately tested to capture 95% of particles(virus or not) 1micron(millionth of a meter) or larger.  They are routinely tested during production and often sampled randomly for further testing in hospitals to ensure they are working.

None of the simple 2-3 layer fabric or paper masks are anywhere near that effective.  Some(don't remember brands) have been shown to capture 30micron droplets when you breath out.  That offers some viral protection for others.  It does nothing for you when someone coughs in you face and 20micron or less viral droplets come through and infect you.

Mask effectiveness if HIGHLY dependent on the materials.  Most fabrics have openings that are much to large for effective filtering either in or out.  If they are stacked 3-5 layers thick they become very difficult to breath through and cause changes in the lungs that may affect your breathing or oxygen absorption.  Ordinary people have no way to test their effectiveness.

Outside or in the sun, viruses are very short lived- seconds to a couple of minutes whether or not they are in droplets.  So loose crowds, not necessarily 6 ft. spacing, could be very safe unless they were packed with infected people.  If you're over 55 it might be good to take a pass if the crowd is large.

A few people were reported to have the virus in prison in California, so they are letting thousands of rapist, murderers, thieves, and child abusers out of prison. If you need help, call 911 and they will transfer you to your congressman who will come to help you in a couple of months. Have a good day.

I went to the ASCS sprint car races last night at the local track.   I noticed a lot of people going in and no masks.  I had nine on and before I could get to the stands I had to pull it down.  Some people know I sweat a lot and that mask was just like I had soaked it in a pail of water.  Could not breath with it on.   It was still wet after the races and I put it in my pocket.

Not as fast as the World of Out Law sprints, but low 15.01 seconds on 4/10th mile track is fast to me.  They blew up a few engines and only one sprinter went upside down during start of feature race. D>K

John,
That figure was for Covid-19 deaths registered in hospitals. The figure including community deaths was 77. Still not a huge figure I admit.

No one is going to know how bad this really is/was for at least 12 months. The only way any country can be judged is excess deaths over a longer period.

England is currently running with less overall deaths each day than the 5 year average, presumably because many people have unfortunately passed away with a positive Covid test who would have died during this period anyway due to an underlying condition or just old age. (No comfort for relatives I admit).

The biggest crimes in my opinion are people who have died or had there life expectancy shortened due to cancelled procedures, routine tests, cancelled Chemo sessions - add any other ongoing illness requiring hospital treatment here.... All under the mantle of "Protect the NHS".

Don't get me started on elderly patients being transferred from hospitals into care homes without a test, that was bordering on criminal.

So, IMO we will not know the true consequences of Covid-19 for a long time yet and those figures will reflect the failings in other parts of the system such as the cancelled procedures mentioned above.

Too bad we can't sue the politicians for the death of all the people that would not have died if they could have gotten their treatment.  Maybe after election day if the democrats don't cancel it they will all be in the unemployment line.

By the way my Son-in-law is getting better after the doctor gave him a treatment from a vacine made from the blood of a covid patient who beat the desease.   There are cures if the democrats would let the doctor do their thing. S?P

It is not a political thing when local authorities determine that it is a finable offense to be "caught" without a mask in an area where they decide they are required.

Whatever the 'sense' of the requirement may or may not be, is it worth making an opinion statement to pay a fine for not complying?

Patrick Henry would like a word with you.

Breaking News!  Joe Biden and Kamala Harris just announced we should be wearing masks anytime we're outside for the next 3 months in order to save an estimated 40,000 lives!

Let me see ... 3 months would put us about a week after the election?  Just asking for a friend ...

Convalescent plasma.
Not a new type of treatment, it has been the plot point for movies where they are looking for "patient zero" to find someone who was actually cured (World War Z for example).
They have been talking about that from the beginning, so not sure how the Democrats (who you might recall are not in charge) have been stopping anyone from looking into it.

Lots of info online about it, going back months. But like any other treatment they need to do proper testing.
