I just retired from the funeral business after a 3+ year hitch and believe me nobody takes it with them. However if there had of been room in the casket I might of slipped in an R/C plane in one man's casket. He was an avid flier. But believe it or not I did bury bottles of booze, beer, fishing rods, golf clubs, pictures of Jesus and Bibles. I was waiting for some one to throw his money into the casket and I would of just written them a check and deposited it in the casket with him but that never happened. OBTW, when we cremate we usually used a cardboard box and there is not room enough for a 1/2A ARF in there let alone all of your flying stuff. Besides the only thing metal in there is the ankle bracelet with the ID number on it. All of this precious stuff has to go somewhere so if you get to feeling bad go to a club meeting and sell it cheap or give it away. I have never seen anyone turn down free model airplane stuff even if we don't need anymore of it. I personally don't have all that much, just about 20 .40 FPs and LAs along with a dozen or so built planes and a few foam wings and then there are the kits that I usually build two or three of when I build a kit.
