Maltese Cross Thing
« on: November 03, 2006, 08:00:37 PM »
Here is one of my beaters.  ~>

Span 42", wings covered with Seal-Lamin.  2" Fuslage painted with Fokker Red Aerogloss.  Tail feathers painted with White Sig Butyrate.  Powered with O.S. Max 35s with os muffler.  Weight as it sits 28.5 oz.  Flys pretty well.

The trim is cut from MonoKote trimKote.

Nice Tom,
Is this a kit?

No just putzing around.  Completely scratch built. Not even a drawing made first.

Looking at that background, I flashed "MY shop?...", then realized I didn't have anything with a Fokker Dr.I horizontal tail in my midden heap...

Good combination for fun, looks like!
