Looking for pictures of how to carve out wing tips.

I tried to search for this topic but it seems that this has not been posted.

Can anyone point to some pictures on how to do carved wing tips? I will need to do a pair for my next project.

I am a got to see it kind of person.

I know windy sells a video for ''Foam wing construction" that focuses a little on carving and hollowing out wingtips and has great detail.

Windy Urtnowski has a million videos with carving wingtips. More important, with Windy, you will learn how to do it right!!! y1

Windy's building a Cardinal wing with Dave Midgley is very indepth on this. It's a must to have or see.

I could help ypu here but I don't have any pictures. You can pretty much leave the outboard tip Solid except for a place to add extra wieght. The in board tip can be split in half an both top and bottom carved out so you have space for leadout adjuster and then hollowed an glued togather and you have a hollowed block. In any case I think you can get the idea that the inboard tip should be lighter than the outboard,If I had a scanner I could draw you a picture Dang. Call Windy.
